The character list that it loads is the one that it was before all the ♥♥♥♥ uppery with the save transfer. This seems weird, when I start Grim Dawn it says "synchronizing steam cloud", does it still say that if the cloud is disabled and it's supposed to use local files? And it very definitely seems to load different saves compared to GD Stash. When I look at the characters in the program it actually shows the character that's missing, and also shows the other character that got reverted to like 20 levels lower (along with the loss of all the items I had stashed on it).Ĭonsidering that they are there, could it be possible to recover them without having to resort to recreating them through cheats?Īny ideas? I'd honestly rather not start editing characters and other crap if possible. Ok so I finally downloaded the thing and imported my stuff there and I noticed something weird. (Just added the post here to make it easier) If possible I'd like to roll the items with randomized stats like you get them in-game, I don't want to just get the best possible numbers for them, that would defeat the whole purpose. So what's the easiest/best way to do this? I've played completely pure up to this point without ever using a single mod or anything, so I really don't know how this works. So something went a bit wrong with moving saves from cloud to local and I lost more than I deem acceptable to just move on and find the items again, so I thought might as well just cheat the items/characters that I lost back. The save location for this game is NOT in the Steam folder, it's in the documents in my games section. EDIT: Just follow this guide down to letter when you switch the files to local.
